First his stage name was Tity Boi, he changed that name early in 2011 into 2 Chainz. As 2 Chainz he released the mixtape T.R.U. REALigion, this mixtape appeared at number 58 on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. On March 24, he announced the release date of his debut album Based On A T.R.U. Story, it was set to release 8/14/2012. Some songs of this album were released earlier. The first was the song named "No Lie" featuring Drake. The second single was Birthday Song featuring Kanye West. Then Yuck featuring Lil Wayne and the last one Luv Dem Strippers featuring Nicki Minaj. I think this is a great debut for 2 Chainz, he did it well with this first studio album.
